SNF runs the project Think big, think Sandefjord - the aim of which is to market the local business community. 1. The purpose of collecting personal data

SNF collects personal information in order to be able to send newsletters and other relevant information to people who have confirmed that they want to be updated about business life and job opportunities in Sandefjord. The people listed on our lists may also be exposed to marketing in other channels, such as social media. The processing of your personal data is based on the consent you have given and is processed in accordance with the Personal Data Act, the EU regulation on personal protection, the Bookkeeping Act and any other relevant laws. According to the Personal Data Act, SNF has the role of data controller. If your personal information is provided to one of our service providers, this will be the data processor for the information.

2. What information is collected

SNF processes the personal data you provided when you registered to receive the newsletter; first name, last name, e-mail address and telephone number. To ensure that we have correct information about you, this information can be compared with external databases such as address registers which are stored in password-protected areas. SNF uses the information to send you newsletters and marketing in line with given consents. You can withdraw your consent at any time, and we will then delete the information that was stored in connection with the consent in question. If you unsubscribe, all information will be deleted beyond that which the Bookkeeping Act requires to be stored.

The personal information we collect and store is only shared with our partners and service providers, and these are the web development company Terki and the media agency Metro Branding. According to the Personal Data Act, this is called disclosure. In that case, our service provider is responsible for processing, and can process the information based on the consents you have given.

5. Who processes your information (data processors)

According to the Personal Data Act, all companies that process personal data we have collected via Tenk stort, tenk Sandefjord (www.tenksandefjord.no) are considered data processors. This means that they must process the information according to instructions given by SNF in accordance with data processing agreements with SNF. The following companies are relevant here:

  • Terki AS assists us with hosting and technical operation of our websites.

  • Metro Branding assists us with testing, communication and development of newsletters
  • Metro Branding assists us with the design, layout and design of websites.
  • We use Mailchimp for e-mailing regular newsletters.

6. Security

The website does not use an SSL certificate (for HTTPS).

7. Social media

The website www.tenksandefjord.no contains functions for social media, including a like button for Facebook and links to our Instagram and LinkedIn sides. Such features may record your IP address and which page you access on our website, and they may store cookies in order for the features to function as intended. Social media features are operated either by a third party or directly on our website. Your use of such features is subject to the privacy policy of the company providing them.

8. Changes

SNF can change the terms of consent and privacy declaration to comply with new legal requirements, and due to changes in our practice for collecting and processing personal data. In the case of changes that require consent, you will be notified via your registered email address.
